  • Provide competent financial guidance and act as a trusted sparring partner for colleagues in Product Management, R&D, and Sales across all financial and business-related matters
  • Independently and proactively analyse financial KPIs, preparing insights for different target audiences to identify trends early and actively support sustainable business development
  • Contribute responsibly to the monthly closing process (local and consolidated according to IFRS), including in-depth analyses, meaningful ad-hoc reports, and management-ready presentations with clear recommendations for action
  • Work closely with the Division Controller to generate relevant business insights as a solid basis for strategic and operational decision-making
  • Prepare and further develop forecasts, budgets, and scenario analyses in close alignment with international stakeholders
  • Actively participate in international and cross-functional projects
  • Identify and implement efficiency improvements as well as automation initiatives within Controlling
  • Serve as a reliable business partner for management in strategic direction-setting and operational steering decisions
  • Opportunity to grow into financial responsibility for defined Business Units, acting as the key interface between Controlling and the operational business
 

This is you

  • Completed degree (University / University of Applied Sciences) in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a comparable field – ideally with a focus on Accounting and Controlling
  • At least five years of professional experience in Controlling, preferably within an international industrial environment
  • Strong analytical, structured, and independent working style
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, high self-motivation, and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with SAP S/4 HANA, Power BI, SAP Business Warehouse, OneStream, and Hyperion Financial Planning (incl. Essbase) is a plus
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10%
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex financial topics in a clear and audience-oriented way
  • Excellent written and spoken English; good conversational German skills are important for this role
  • You value in-person collaboration and are willing to work on-site 2–3 days per week to stay close to the business and key stakeholders
