  • Contribute to the creation of a reliable and scalable software infrastructure
  • Design and implement tools and scripts to automate tasks, boost productivity, and support the development team
  • Create and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and seamless automated builds, tests, and deployments
  • Focus areas include the base OS layer (Nix) and developer tooling, CI/CD pipelines (cloud and local), IT resource automation and orchestration (using Ansible and virtualization), and ML Ops (cloud and local)
  • Independently work with the engineering team to identify needs and drive the DevOps roadmap forward
  • Write code primarily in Python, Nix, and shell/bash scripts on Linux
  • Work on hardware in the loop test infrastructure; helping maintain a simulation environment & in the future collaborate on production cloud deployments
 

This is you

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field with extensive industry experience
  • Proficient in writing code in Python and Shell/Bash, with familiarity in Nix and some experience with C++/CMake
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing CI/CD pipelines
  • A proactive approach with the ability to independently organize and manage sub-team work, demonstrating an entrepreneurial mindset
  • You bring experience in the areas of cloud and local CI/CD , docker, container orchestration/deployments and cloud infrastructure (preferably on Azure)
  • An interest in small/embedded devices (Linux) and hardware, including interfaces with devices such as cameras, sensors, and actuators
  • Enjoy working independently and engaging in hands-on tasks
    Proficiency in English, German is an advantage (official working language is English)
