Drive, structure and coordinate our base software platform as sub project lead
Contribute on our tech stack on a day-to-day basis through individual contributions such as software development or software/hardware integration activities (this should be the largest part of your time)
Interact with other teams (mostly robotics focused teams) to understand their needs for the base software platform
Work with DevOps specialists to ensure that the base software platform ties in closely with our development tooling and CI/CD infrastructure

This is you

University degree in Computer Science or similar
Proven track record (5+ years) as individual contributor in the field or robotics, embedded Linux or similar field as software engineer
Already gained some experience in line management and the hiring of highly skilled engineers and the interest to grow further your leadership and management skills
You have helped organize or played a key factor in shipping a software product to customers
Good programming skills in C++ and Python and the intention to keep coding
Good systems understanding with Embedded Linux, Distributed Embedded Systems, embedded communication protocols and an interest to day-to-day work with hardware
An open and communicative mindset that thrives in an environment with flat hierarchies and a team that solves problems at the boundary between research and development
You are fluent in English (working language) German is a bonus
Touchpoints with components like Nix, Nvidia Jetsons, Video Pipelines (Deepstream), ROS 2 are considered a plus
