  • Interact with other teams (mostly robotics focused teams) to understand their needs for the base software platform
  • Work with DevOps specialists to ensure that the base software platform ties in closely with our development tooling and CI/CD infrastructure
  • Be part of an R&D with startup spirit in a globally active company with the vision to empower an autonomous future
 

This is you

  • University degree in Computer Science or similar
  • Proven track record (5+ years) as individual contributor in the field or robotics, embedded Linux or similar field as software engineer
  • Already gained some experience in line management and the hiring of highly skilled engineers and the interest to grow further your leadership and management skills
  • You have helped organize or played a key factor in shipping a software product to customers
  • Good programming skills in C++ and Python and the intention to keep coding
  • Good systems understanding with Embedded Linux, Distributed Embedded Systems, embedded communication protocols and an interest to day-to-day work with hardware
  • An open and communicative mindset that thrives in an environment with flat hierarchies and a team that solves problems at the boundary between research and development
  • You are fluent in English (working language) German is a bonus
  • Touchpoints with components like Nix, Nvidia Jetsons, Video Pipelines (Deepstream), ROS 2 are considered a plus
