As an Internship Product Engineer at Leica Geosystems, you will join a hands-on team focused on testing and validating hardware and software solutions. You will support product development and contribute to new releases.

With a strong focus on practical execution, you will help ensure high quality standards and translate customer needs into technical requirements.

This role is ideal for candidates with a background in surveying or geomatics who want to develop their technical skills in a real-world product environment.

This is you

Currently studying or holding a degree in Geomatics, Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a similar discipline, with a strong interest in technical product environments
Available for a minimum of 6 months and motivated to gain hands-on industry experience in a real-world setting
Solution-oriented mindset with a strong interest of structured problem-solving, especially in technical or product-related challenges
Comfortable working in collaborative, cross-functional teams while also being able to take ownership and work independently when required
Creative and proactive, with a strong interest in bringing in own ideas to improve processes, products, or ways of working
Fluent in English (written and spoken); German language skills would be considered a plus
