  • Collaborate closely with the development teams in the development of new systems
  • Build new and optimise existing systems, ensuring they follow best practices and satisfy customer requirements
  • Challenge existing setups and drive system modernisation
  • End-to-end engagement, from kick-off to production and continuous improvement of high-availability services in the cloud
  • Delivering high-quality solutions focusing on reliability, automation, maintainability and security
  • Operate production system alongside other engineering teams, focusing on building and operating systems following DevOps principles
  • Work hands-on with our tech stack: Azure, Terraform, Serverless functions, Kubernetes, Containerization, Windows & Linux, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki
 

This is you

  • At least 5 years' experience in cloud engineering or software development, at least three with a focus on cloud native technologies
  • Strong communication skills to build close relationships with the service delivery and the development team and transfer knowledge effectively
  • Team player mentality
  • Experience with Containerization, Kubernetes, a major cloud provider (AWS, Azure or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiarity with DevOps principles
  • Tenacity to question existing setups and push for improvements
  • Experience in scripting, Linux and Windows Shells, and cloud technologies
  • Proficiency in English, German is a plus

 

 

Nice to have: 

  • Experience in networking
  • Experience in monitoring and alerting (especially Grafana stack)
  • Experience in building and operating multi-cloud environments
  • Experience in modern security best practices, security certifications
