This appeals to you

  • Design and execute system and integration tests
  • Critically analyze complex systems to identify potential bottlenecks and sources for bugs
  • Track and document issues in the wild, assist developers with reproducing issues in the lab
  • Plan and execute automation of software-only and hardware-in-the-loop system integration tests
  • Organize and contribute to technical documentation
  • Assist developers with project and product risk analyses
  • Administer and extend our Continuous Integration Platform
  • Seek, use and promote best practice methodologies & tools to deliver quality software releases
 

This is you

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in QA roles, with at least 2 years focused on embedded systems testing
  • Solid focus on Quality and Testing
  • Proficient in reading and understanding source code
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills in English (German is a plus)
  • Willingness to travel overseas (to mining sites) occasionally
  • Driver’s license

Advantageous experience:

  • Experience in Quality, Testing, Automation or Embedded Systems Engineering
  • Understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and microcontroller-based systems
  • Linux and Windows administration experience
  • Knowledge of Python, C or C# would be an asset
  • Tools: TestRail, Jira, Confluence, git, pytest, docker
  • Knowledge of networking protocols
  • Experience with electronic measurement tools such as oscilloscopes and multimeters
