As a Global Supply Chain Controller (f/m/d), you will take on a key role as a business partner for our global supply chain organization – covering production, logistics, and procurement. In this strategically oriented yet hands-on function, you carry financial responsibility for central operational topics and support the global management team with in-depth analyses, business insights, and clear, actionable recommendations.

You will lead a small international team of 3–4 colleagues and collaborate closely with various departments worldwide. With your contribution, you actively shape decision-making, strengthen performance, and support the successful development of our company.

  • Business partner for the global supply chain management team in strategic and operational matters
  • Responsibility for the financial management of the global supply chain organisation, including the definition of financial targets and the derivation of measures for sustainable value creation
  • Ensuring transparency, tracking targets, and actively driving performance initiatives
  • Leadership, support, and further development of an international team of 3–4 controlling colleagues at the sites in Heerbrugg, Singapore, and Wuhan (CN)
  • Responsibility, together with the team, for efficient, precise, and optimised calculation of manufacturing costs
  • Preparation of forecasts, execution of ad-hoc analyses, and development of meaningful presentations with clear recommendations for action
  • Development and optimisation of tools and models for planning and scenario analyses
  • Close collaboration with production, logistics, procurement, and other relevant departments
  • Supporting the supply chain organisation in decision-making through well-founded analyses and meaningful financial storytelling
  • Active contribution to and further development of processes in controlling and supply chain
  • Strategic and professional involvement in group-wide projects in the supply chain area
 

This is you

  • Completed degree in business administration, finance or a comparable qualification (e.g. accounting & controlling expert)
  • 5–10 years of professional experience, ideally in an international industrial company
  • Leadership experience and competence in team development
  • Strong analytical thinking skills and the ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable recommendations
  • Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style with high commitment
  • Pragmatic team player with an entrepreneurial mindset and convincing communication skills
  • Business-fluent German and English, spoken and written
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BW, Essbase or OneStream is an advantage
  • Willingness to undertake occasional international business trips
