Performing feasibility studies to investigate opportunities in the fields of geospatial mapping and surveying
Contributing to the development of disruptive products like the Leica RTC360, BLK360, BLK3D, BLK2GO and
BLK2FLY
Developing real-time capable navigation algorithms fusing image data with other sensors such as IMU, LiDAR, and GNSS
Prototyping of software modules and evaluation on real-world computer-vision problems
Working together with various teams from different divisions within Hexagon

This is you

A relevant university qualification (Master / Ph.D.) in engineering or computer science with focus on computer vision, mobile robotics or photogrammetry
Theoretical understanding and practical experience with SLAM (Simultaneous Localisation and Mapping) / SfM (Structure From Motion)
Knowledge of state estimation based on fusion of different sensor inputs, e.g., camera, LiDAR, IMU, GNSS, etc.
Preferably 5+ years of experience in this field
Proficiency in software development using languages like C++ and Python
Ability to work independently as well as part of an international team with a proactive approach to problem solving
Strong inter-disciplinary communication and cooperation skills
English written and spoken, German beneficial
