In this dynamic role, you support our worldwide supply chain organisation on key business and performance topics while taking ownership of your own defined functional areas. You support the Global Supply Chain Controller, turn data into insights, identify optimisation opportunities, and act as a sparring partner to management in critical decision-making and investment processes. You’ll contribute to forecasts, budget planning, financial closings, and global improvement projects - always with the goal of creating transparency, strengthening processes, and driving the sustainable performance of our supply chain.

  • Support of the Global Supply Chain Controller in all financial and business-related matters within the context of the global supply chain organisation (production, logistics, and procurement)
  • Independent responsibility for defined supply chain areas and acting as a business partner for local management:
    • Financial steering of assigned areas
    • Sparring partner in decision-making processes and investment decisions
    • Identification of optimisation potentials
    • Presentation of relevant KPIs and derivation of clear action recommendations
  • Support in financial management, target tracking, and KPI transparency within the global supply chain organisation
  • Participation in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings (IFRS), including analyses, variance explanations, and presentations with clear action recommendations
  • Contribution to financial steering, target tracking, and KPI transparency within the global supply chain organisation
  • Preparation of forecasts, budget planning, and ad-hoc analyses — including deriving concrete measures for process improvement
  • Support in the annual standard-costing process and in calculating manufacturing costs in collaboration with the central costing team
  • Participation in global projects aimed at optimising supply chain performance, digitalisation, and process harmonisation
 

This is you

  • University or university of applied sciences degree (Bachelor/Master) in Business Administration, Finance, or a comparable field
  • 2–4 years of professional experience in controlling, ideally in a production or supply chain environment
  • Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of operational processes
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SAP (S/4HANA), SAP BW, SAP Analytics Cloud, or OneStream is an advantage
  • Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style with high-quality standards
  • Proactive, team-oriented personality who enjoys cross-functional collaboration in an international environment
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
  • Willingness to work on-site in Heerbrugg approx. 3 days per week
