We are looking for a motivated C++ Geometry library - Project Manager & QA who will help the team organize their work and deliver high-quality results based on the needs of our internal customers. This role involves participating throughout the entire lifecycle of a software project—from negotiating the scope with the customer to delivery—while monitoring progress, ensuring quality, and providing feedback about potential risks.

As a Project Manager & QA, you will join the core SDK team at Technodigit and support our Product Manager (PM) in coordinating with external entities.

Project Management: 

  • Effectively manage a project from start to finish
  • Ensure coordination / communication with different parties / clients
  • Develop and maintain an accurate and up-to-date schedule
  • Supervise progress and monitor activities and deadlines
  • Provide progress reports and presentations on project progress and results achieved

QA

  • Test and validate algorithms in the context of the projects needs
  • Evaluate the robustness of these algorithms by identifying the limit conditions (necessary point density on a point cloud, cloud size, measurement noise, etc.)
  • Bring an external user's critical perspective to the development team by detecting bugs, blockages, and any other type of problem (documentation, naming, etc.)
  • Implement metrics to evaluate and monitor the quality of our algorithms
 

 

This is you

  • Experiences with the organisation of small/midsize software projects with a high R&D part
  • Demonstrate interpersonal skills allowing you to guide a small team
  • Have spatial vision and understand 3D geometry
  • Solid English proficiency is necessary for the communication with our customers
  • Knowledge of agile development methods
  • Rigorousity and a good organisation, you demonstrate proactivity and initiative in your daily activities
  • Good knowledge of a programming language (C++ or Python) will often simplify communication with the team
  • Curiosity; instead of stopping at 'it doesn't work,' you strive to guide your colleagues onto the right track.
