Mechanical Design Engineer (f/m/d)

Turn functional ideas into assemblies and sub - assemblies
Design of related components in CAD, derive documentation such as drawings, technical specification, test reports for suppliers, production and assembly
Engage in technical negotiations with suppliers & assembly department in order to optimize parts, sub-assemblies manufacturability and production yield
Test and verify the functionality of your parts & sub-assemblies
Collaborating with multi-discipline and diverse project teams
Contribute to continuous improvement of processes within the R&D Team

This is you

Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanics or similar based on an apprenticeship as design technician or mechanic
You have proven track record of 3+ years in a mechanical engineering environment
Several years of experience in CAD designing is a must; preferrable in Siemens NX
Entrepreneurial mindset, highly motivated with a proactive attitude and hands-on mentality
Open-minded team player with great interpersonal and communication skills
Experience in opto-mechanics / optronics or bearing systems is a plus
You enjoy working in an interdisciplinary and international team using German and English
Basic Knowledge in electronics, SW development, Matlab or Python is an asset
