  • Leading the team responsible for the development of the localization solution for our mobile robots.
  • Driving the requirement engineering, concept definition and architecture for SLAM, re-relocalization and multi-modal sensor fusion.
  • Evaluating, testing and implementing state-of-the-art methods and adapting them to our needs.
  • System integration and building product out of cutting-edge algorithms.
  • Deliver reliable software through code reviews, continuous integration, and automated testing.
  • Coding in modern C++ and occasionally Python.
  • Working in a startup like environment within a global company, with flat hierarchies and high personal influence.
 

This is you

  • Master or PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar.
  • Passion for leading and mentoring engineers.
  • Track record of at least 5 years in using or implementing localization algorithms.
  • Strong theoretical understanding of SLAM, state estimation, and computer vision in general.
  • Experience with ToF and RGB-D sensors is a plus.
  • You are very experienced in modern C++ and comfortable with Python.
  • You like to work independently and hands-on in rapid iterations with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Proficiency in English (official language), German is advantageus.
